I’ve spent my entire adult life in business for myself, always trying to provide the best product and/or service I could possibly offer to my customers. Back in ’94, before I exited college I was running a lawncare business and a couple years later (still prior to exiting college) began selling high ticket, ultra premium, consumer products online before it became “cool”.

Ultimately, I always felt that, if I was going to sell a product or offer a service, I wanted to offer the best option that existed in the market. I never wanted to be a “me too” company.

For instance, in my lawncare business, I was always careful not to take on too many clients and fill my schedule too full. That way, I could take my time to do it right, not cutting corners. Moreover, when it rained, I could actually wait to cut lawns till they dried out – which is MUCH better for the grass.

My competitors mowed in the rain. They had no choice. They had too many customers not to. But, that also meant that their customers’ lawns always had more problems than my customers’ lawns.

That customer-centric philosophy has carried over to my online sales. I don’t sell cheap products, and I don’t take shortcuts. If we offer a product, it’s the best out there, and, if we say it has a lifetime warranty, we’re not going to dink you around with the fine print. If you need a replacement, we send it, and YOU are the one that decides if you “need” it, not us.

Bottom line, we’re going to treat you better than any other company has ever treated you. Ultimately, that’s how we know that you are going to purchase every single product we sell, eventually. It just won’t make sense to buy from anyone else.
